I'm taking class during summer vacation so I can take winter quarter off.
English composition class is intimidating. Although there are some Korean fobs to make me feel slightly better, the rest of the class left me in awe. Why am I so bad at writing!
Biology is numbingly boring. I have to rewatch 8 lectures because I slept through all of them. Midterm is next week. wahhhh!
I'll try to live through biology series. Can't wait to take math and chem again. They're pain, but at least I feel more motivated to do work.

So where the heck am I going?
-Environmental/bacterial/medical/chemical researcher: hahaha a dream deferred, well actually I don't even know if it's my dream career. It would be kinda nice to work as a contract researcher.
-Lab assistant: sounds sweet, but I can do more. It can be my part time job for a while.
-Pharmacist: hmmmm... maybe, based on stories I have heard, it sounds terribly hectic and frustrating. Americans pour their medical bill anger on the pharmacists, that sounds like hell to go through everyday. Based on what I have seen in local pharmacies, they do their job at leisure pace. In Hochiminh City (LOLLLL), when customers are not there, pharmacists watch TV, read newspaper, drink latte, and take siestas. They can have months of vacation if they're the store owners. Unlike US, there's no insurance company and ridiculous medical cost to anger customers and make life hard for the pharmacists. The only "busy/frustrated pharmacists" are the ones working under government payroll or working in in hospitals. idk why. This is just my experience.

-Tea shop owner: this idea came about when I got high just from smelling tea leaves in a shop. well okay not really, but you get the idea.
-Professional backpacker: a dream deferred *tear* If I attempt this, I risk becoming a professional hobo.


I thought about a career in computer science field. It seems so much harder though ;w; Students who walk out of Electrical Engineering Building look as if they just returned to Earth from some unknown dimension. Their cover their pale skin with sloppy outfits, and their eyes gaze into emptiness. Even during a late Friday night, they are still tapping on the keyboards IN THE SCHOOL LAB. MAI GAWD, SO MUCH DEDICATION! I can never compete with them.

Art.... I'll hate it if my life depends on sporadic creativity spurts. Even the first step is really hard for me to take: I DON'T WANT TO BE IN AN ART CLASS.

When I first played BrainAge last summer, it said I was 60 something years old. So, does this mean I'm ready for retirement without even starting to work. (Playing it a while got me to twenty something.... I'm probably 1000 years old now)

I won't sit still until I get my hands on the full ver. of Le Grand Tango (Astor Piazzolla & Gidon Kremer).

A friend showed me Le Maison en Petits Cubes weeks ago in better quality than this, but that video was taken down. I recommend watching if you haven't already. Maybe you'll have better luck searching for one with higher quality on Veoh. It's by Kunio Kato, who is also known for The Diary of Tortov Roddle. He gave the best Oscar speech ever. Adorable!

In other news, one of my pic is "reported for further investigation" on Y!. LOL idk why. I wonder what kind of reward combing through Y! for violation would give. People get banned like there's no tomorrow in that draconian gallery.

whooo I'm obviously not handling stress well these days. As if I didn't get enough personal time throughout the year already, I kinda want to be alone for a while. Just a thought.

Today is a nightmare. I'm only 1/3 done with reviewing for biology final. It's 2am. Exam is at 8:30 am.
I want to cry but my tear ducts are defunct after all the reading. It's very likely that after the exam I'll crash in the library or on school lawn.

I can't start studying for biology final. :'(

Calculus grade is up. Somebody actually got 99% in this class, that's hardcore.
If this is the final grade, I get 90% (3.8/4.0) whoohoo! I'll need this to console myself when grades for the other 3 classes are up. *nervous laugh* I have been doing... below average in biology... and didn't even bother to try. orz

This summer would have been great if I only have do to math. But no, I signed up for biology and English composition. FFFFF THE DREADED ENGLISH COMPOSITION CLASS!! I have nowhere to run this time! Biology is interesting, but the students in this class makes me feel stupid and illiterate. Also, there are some 13 year old Asians in my class. I heard they're also taking chemistry at the university. What are they doing here? AND WHY ARE THEY NOT STRESSED OUT AT ALL sobsobsob

Other than that, I hope to go hiking as often as possible this summer! The school gym has a nice swimming pool and a sweet sauna, so I'll most likely chill there as well.

Gotta lose the fat gained from stress-eating all these quarters. :I

When I was a kid, I was so scared by this scene and the moaanning (see next part). That was the creepiest 5 minutes of cartoon I ever watched. ;w;

I figured doodling is at least better than aimless surfing, so I made another oekaki board. (whyyyy i can't study~ orz)
